Complete Stud Welding

CD Cable Tie Base Weld Studs

CD Cable Tie Base Weld Studs offer a superior option for securing cable tie bases compared to traditional adhesives or screws. These specialized CTB fasteners use a knock-off style CD retaining stud to mount wire tie bases firmly in place before the top portion of the stud is broken off to accept the cable tie.

Complete Stud Welding provides these high-strength assemblies along with direct application, dimensional, technical, and welding assistance.

  • Permanent Welded Cable Tie Base Attachment
  • Stainless Steel or Aluminum Stud Options
  • Supports Wire Bundles Up to 1" Diameter
  • Knock-Off Style Retaining Stud Design

Product Overview

CD Cable Tie Base Weld Studs provide a permanent welded mounting solution for nylon cable tie bases used in electrical, industrial, transportation, and equipment manufacturing applications. Unlike adhesive-backed cable mounts, these assemblies remain securely attached even in demanding operating environments.

The knock-off retaining stud securely holds the cable tie base during installation and is removed after welding to create a clean mounting surface for the cable tie. Available in stainless steel and aluminum, these weld studs deliver dependable performance while simplifying cable routing and bundle management.
