Complete Stud Welding

Stud Welding Automation Equipment

Our stud welding automation equipment covers the complete chain of automated welding machines, from CD and ARC power supplies purpose-built for machine integration, to KAH weld heads, PAH weld guns, and the VBZ-3 stud feeder. Whether you're running a single-station CD line at 5/16" or a multi-axis ARC cell at 7/8", every component in this range is rated and configured exclusively for welding automation duty.

Automated Welding Solutions

Our portfolio of automated welding machines is organized across four segments, each serving a distinct function in the automation welding chain. Identify your role in the series, then select the matched unit for your weld diameter and process type.

Power Supply

CD and ARC power supplies rated for continuous automation duty — CDi 1502, CDMi 2402, CDMi 3202 for CD process up to 5/16"; IT 90 for ARC process up to 7/8" and short cycle to 5/8".

All four units are configured exclusively for machine integration, delivering repeatable weld energy output across high-cycle production environments.

Weld Head

KAH 612, KAH 412 LA, and KAH 412 are machine-mount automation weld heads covering CD up to 3/8", ARC up to 1/2", and short cycle up to 1/2" — three configurations for standard, long-arm, and compact mounting.

Each KAH head pairs directly with the CDi/CDMi or IT 90 power supply, completing the weld station without additional interface components.

Weld Gun

The PAH-1 is an automation weld gun covering CD and short cycle stud welding up to 5/16". It’s a compact gun-format alternative to the KAH weld head for cells where a head-mount solution is not practical.

Rated for automation duty and compatible with the CDi and CDMi power supply series, the PAH-1 covers the same 5/16" CD capacity in a flexible, repositionable form factor.

Automation Accessories

The VBZ-3 stud feeder handles CD, ARC, and short-cycle stud feeding up to 5/16" and integrates directly with automated weld stations. The full accessories package adds single-stud feeding, ground clamps, and sensors to complete the cell.

Ground clamps, sensors, and single-stud feeding components are available as a matched accessory set, covering every peripheral requirement for a fully automated stud welding installation.

Which Is Right for Your Application?

Selecting the correct automated welding systems and accessories depends on the stud process type, weld diameter, integration environment, and production rate. Match your power supply to your weld head, then add the appropriate stud feeder and accessories for a complete cell.

Our team has configured hundreds of automated welding systems, from simple CD single-station lines to multi-axis ARC robotic integrations. Tell us your stud diameter, process type, and cycle rate, and we'll specify the right system.
