Dual Gun Operation

Both TWE17000 heavy-duty stud Arc welding guns run off the single TW6902 power supply. In production environments where arc stud welding runs continuously across a large work surface or fixture, two guns operating from one unit cuts downtime between welds and removes the need for a second machine and power circuit entirely.

Unlimited Duty Cycle Up to 5/8" Stud Diameter

At 5/8" and below, the TW6922 carries an unlimited duty cycle rating. The arc stud welding capacity drops to defined cycles per minute only at 3/4" and larger. For structural fabricators running high-volume arc weld stud operations on mid-range diameters, this is a direct throughput advantage over machines with blanket duty-cycle restrictions.

Digital Controls

All three primary arc stud welding process parameters, time, current, and gas purge, are controlled digitally from the front panel. Factory presets cover the full 1/4" to 1-1/4" arc stud welding range, and user-customizable presets allow shops to save tested settings for repeat jobs and specific materials, including aluminum arc weld studs.

PRO-TECH'D Gun Circuit Protection

PRO-TECH'D technology actively protects the circuitry inside both TWE17000 arc stud welding guns. In heavy production environments where the stud arc welding gun is subject to sustained arc draw cycles at large diameters, gun circuit failures are a common maintenance issue. This protection extends service intervals and reduces the cost of maintaining two guns running in parallel.

Three-Phase Multi-Voltage Input

The TW6922 accepts three-phase input at all three standard North American industrial voltages without internal re-tapping. A single machine moves between facilities or service bays running different panel voltages without hardware changes, a practical specification for contractors and fabricators operating across multiple sites.

Ferrule-Shielded and Gas-Shielded

The TW6922 supports both ferrule-shielded and gas-shielded drawn arc stud welding in one machine. Ferrule-shielded arc stud welding is standard for structural steel and mild steel arc weld studs. Gas-shielded arc stud welding covers stainless and aluminum arc weld studs where ceramic ferrules cannot be used. Operating both processes from a single arc stud welding machine removes the need for separate equipment per material type.
